New colors

I did a color change, it might hurt your eyes but whatever… I also widened this table a little bit. And finally, unrelated, I bought another Marvel Legnds toy. I can afford it because I get a discount at KBToys where I work. I now have the entire Series IV – Elektra, Beast, Gambit, and The Punisher.

Im broke

Today I bought 3 of those Marvel Legends action figures, the White Stripes De Stijl cd, and the first season of Reno 911. Where did the rest of my money go? I got a speeding ticket 2 Thursdays ago. I decided to go ahead and set aside the money I’d have to fork up. I’m hoping to wave my ticket in favor of a defensive driving class. I’ll find out how it goes on Decembro 2nd. Oh yeah I almost forgot. About two weeks ago I bought the first self titled White Stripes CD and the debut Von Bondies CD.

little revamping

I continously tweak my site here and there. First of all I finally changed the browser title, you can figure out what it means yourself. Finally I changed ‘image and sound’ to media since I started doing flash now. There are now 4 categories – Images, Sounds, Videos, and Flash. I removed the two images because they weren’t that spectacular. Not that the other stuff on there is but the pictures really didn’t need to stay. I plan on getting more awesome with Photoshop so thats what Images will be for. That’s all I got for now.

Team America rocked my socks. It was definatly one of the funniest movies I have seen in my entire life. I don’t want to spoil anything but I will say that the very end of the movie made it 100 million times funnier.

Image and Sound History

I may have said I updated the section in the past but I never actually say what I put up there or why I put what up there. This is that belated post.

I may have talked about “In the Static” and “Crowded City Street.” If not, those were just two things I did in Photoshop when I was first learning it. They are also among the very few things that I have done with Photoshop all together :.

Then there is Ramen Noodles which I think either me or Brandon explained – filmed at his house, I’m the guy in the video. We were bored one night and so we decided to film something – me making Ramen. I thought it would be funny to put it against a heavy song and Rammstein was the choice.

Then there is Tater Tots the song. This was another thing out of boredom. Me and a few of my friends were bored at my house so I busted out my old Casio SK1 and we started messing around. I created the TaterTots sample, put it up against my mic, and recorded it to my computer. That same night we sent it to random people in chatrooms claiming we were an underground rap group and that was out first local hit. They bought it and said it was really good :.

Finally there are the 5 flash movies. Speedy was a creation out of boredom one afternoon. I wanted to make some laughs so I recorded myself crawling through my hallway. I then cut it so it looked like I was running back and forth really fast and put it to the Speed Racer song.

Wasp 2004 is actually like a Director’s Cut. The original was made in late 2000 or early 2001 with my very first attempts at flash. My other 3 attempts with flash before I got into it again last month were a stupid little 3 second flash that used Counter-Strike sprites and sounsd; the “Harder Better Faster Stronger” song by Daft Punk with a Stop, Play, and Pause button; and a moving Flanders head from the Simpsons that said “Hi diddly ho!”

Bombs Away is a serious production by me inspired by one video. A while ago posted a link to one of the nuclear videos. When I got back into flash I decided to make a flash movie out of it but I wanted more videos. After a long night of searching I found a website with a slew of videos including the original one I found on Fazed. The videos are a lot longer than in the video but I only took portions so it could last as long as the song does which is a very great song – I love New Wave music, that’s the only station I listen to in GTA Vice City 🙂

Then there is Family Dogs which is as recent as a week or week and a half. I wanted to do a literal interpretation of the Family Dogs song off of Modest Mouse’s Moon and Antarctica CD. Thus that crappily animated flash was born.

And finally there is the one I uploaded today, the Mortal Kombat flash. This is yet another music video :(. But I like it. It is the techno song from the movie featuring some game sprites, most prominantly the Shang Tsung victory sprite. That thing is funny when looped lol.

Well there you have it. I will comment about each new upload in the future so I don’t have to do another one of these long things again.

I forgot I said I was gonna buy the Star Wars OT DVD. Well, I did and I have sinced watched them all. Even the bonus disc. I must say the DVDs really bring the films up to modern day quality. I am pretty okay with the newer changes too – the only change that rubs me the wrong way is making Hayden appear as Anakin’s ghost at the end of Return of the Jedi. I don’t really see why they did this; maybe it will be cleared up in Episode III (I can’t wait for it!!!!). Oh yeah I also see that I forgot to mention I bought F-Zero GX for GameCube, an extra GameCube (Wavebird) controller, and an extra PSOne controller. Keep on keepin’ on!

I bought 4 new CDs very recently. 3 are new and one is old. The old one is REM’s “Document” CD which came out in 1987. It has “It’s the End of the World as we Know it.” and other songs of course. The new ones I bought are Green Day’s new CD – American Idiot – has some really awesome songs, Sum 41’s new Chuck – has some sweetness on it too, and No Doubt’s new rarities CD that just came out. It has their B-Sides, Rarities, and a couple of remixes on it. It has some sweet stuff too that should of made it onto their albums in their past. Check out these CDs, espeicially REM – Document and Green Day – American Idiot. Speaking of REM they just had a new CD come out too but I haven’t been able to listen to it yet. That’s it for now!
